Namrata Shrestha has become the highest paid actress in Nepali movie industry. She has received Rs. 500,000 for acting in a Prachanda Shrestha movie, Purple Days. The movie based on a real story of a drug addict girl (Ekata Mahat).
Model turned actress Namrata started her acting career with ‘Sano Sansar’. She made headlines when a sex scandal was released last year, during the release of her second movie ‘Mero Euta Saathi Chha‘. Namrata has also received Rs. 400,000 for her role in her upcoming movie "Miss U…"
