In a program held at the Army Officers’ Club, 19 different awards were handed to the top music artists on January 6, 2012.

Among various musical programs, poet Chhetra Pratap Adhikari was awarded the Life Time Achievement Award for his contribution to music sector. Narendra Pyasi and rock band Albatross each won three awards. Full list of the award follows:

Amongst various Nepali film personalities, CG Digital Film Award was held in Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal, Kathmandu. Different awards in 29 different categories were awarded in the ceremony. Top actress in Nepali cinema, Rekha Thapa, can’t take rest even when she is sick. She has water allergy and when she has to do a swimming pool shot she gets cold and fever the next day.

While shooting for her upcoming movie, Khusi, she got sick but due to her tight schedule she can’t take rest. She is taking medicine and is resting between shots. Rekha is starting shooting for ‘Comrade Jaljala’ on Tuesday, Aug. 31. She has also signed for a movie named ‘Malati ko bhatti’. Rekha’s other movies ‘Challenge’ and ‘Kasle Choryo Mero Man’ are in their’s final stage.
