Last week there were four new releases and this week three more Nepali movies are being released in theaters – ‘Uma’, ‘Ho Yahi Maya Ho’ and ‘Riyaa’.
‘Uma’ is a movie made on the story plotted based on the Maoist armed war against the government. The movie director Tsering Rhitar Sherpa and features actors like Richa Sharma, Saugat Malla, Mithila Sharma, Praween Khatiwada, Ashok Sharma, Dayahang Rai, Shrijana Subba and others. ‘Uma’ is produced under Mila Production banner and is written, produced and directed by Tsering himself.

This Firday, on June 29, 2012, two movies were released in the theaters in Kathmandu and two more movies are being released in theaters out of Kathmandu. Two films released in Kathmandu are the movie made on a classic masterpiece ‘Muna Madan’ and ‘Man Paraya Maya Laye’. Movies released in theaters out of Kathmandu include ‘Surya Chandra’ and ‘Kina Lagchha Maya’.

The movie "Man Manai Man Paraya" was released today (Feb 18, 2011), all over Nepal. The movie directed by Rajendra Upreti features Mukesh Dhakal, Raj Timilsina, Richa Singh Thakuri, Mithila Sharma, Jaya Kishan Basnet, and Sunil Thapa in the leading roles.
The movie was premiered in Astha Narayan Hall at 11 AM.
