Dance India Dance (DID) L’il Masters Season 3 winner, Nepali dancer Teriya Magar received a very warm welcome when she arrived at Kathmandu on June 28. A big crowd had gathered at the Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome her. The public had chanted a slogan, “Nepaliko Shaan, Teriyako Samman”.
A Magar community organization, Magar Association, had been instrumental in organizing the welcome of 11-years-old Teriya who had won the DID L’il Masters title besting more than 40,000 other participant dancers. After winning the title that lasted about 5 months Teriya was awarded with a cup and Rs. 10 lakh in cash prize. Teriya had received about 1.7 million public votes to win the title.
